Instituțiile de cercetare trebuie să crească gradul de vizibilitate și de identificare a cercetătorilor lor prin intermediul unor profiluri publice individuale care să prezinte principalele activități ale acestora. În plus, astfel de profiluri sunt utile pentru a alimenta sistemele interne de informații cu date verificate și validate, fie că este vorba de publicații academice, citări, sau evaluări peer-review.
