The Department is located on the first floor of Building B or the Faculty of Letters. The book are organized in accordance with their contents and they are divided into 6 collections:

  • Literary history and criticism (I)
  • Fiction (L)
  • Linguistics (F)
  • Dictionaries and encyclopaedias (D)
  • Hungarian (M)
  • The D.S.B. collection – The Ştefan Borbely Donation

Collections:

  • Books in Romanian: 90.000 volumes
  • Books in Hungarian: 30.000 volumes
