The Library of Modern History is located on Napoca Street no. 11, on the ground floor, in a common space shared with the Library of the George Barit Institute of History.
The numerous publications owned by the library are organized into 6 groups: The History of Romania collection, the World History collection, The Bolyai Collection, the didactic collection, the collection of doctoral theses and the collection of periodicals.
The library mainly answers the needs of the following categories of readers: the teaching staff of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, the students of the same faculty, the researchers from the George Barit Institute of History, the teaching staff of the undergraduate education system.
